Adidas Village

Redevelopment of the Bess Kaiser Medical Center site transformed the former hospital into an open campus for the 350,000 square-foot corporate headquarters of adidas America. The site is developed as a unified whole, renovating the existing structure and adding new office buildings and sports facilities to complete an urban "village" environment. Located on a prominent urban site in the Overlook Neighborhood, adidas Village is neighborhood-friendly and includes a public basketball court, public park, bikeway and pedestrian walkways. The project was completed in 2003.

adidas Village received the 2008 Urban Land Institute Award for Global Excellence, the highest recognition in the real estate development field, as well as the 2004 AIA Excellence in Design Award.
